Admission Procedure

Admission Policy

1.Admission is granted strictly on the basis of availability of seats and the merit of the candidate.
2.Application form for admission is available and can be obtained from the school office on payment of SR.50/-

KG Section

For Admission to LKG, the child should be 3 years and 6 months (preferably 4 years as per NEP, India) on or before the first day of the academic year (1st April) of the school. Admission to LKG will be granted based on an interaction with parents and the child.

For UKG, an assessment of Basic Competency may be conducted for the students.

For Admission to Pre KG, the child should be above 2years and six months and below 4 years as of 1 st April of the current academic year

A Birth Certificate from a competent authority along with other required documents should be submitted along with the admission form.

Classes I – VIII

An assessment of Basic Competency will be conducted for students seeking admission in Classes I – VIII. The Assessment may cover the following subjects.

For fresh admission to KG and Std. I, a Birth Certificate from a competent authority and all other documents as required by the school, should be submitted along with the admission form. Pupils coming from other schools should also submit the original Transfer Certificate issued by the previous school along with other documents as required by the school.

Classes IX to XII

For Classes IX to XII, an Assessment of Basic Competency in their relevant subjects will be conducted for the students coming from other schools.

Admission to Class IX, X & XII in the school shall be open only to a student who has successfully completed a regular course of study for class VIII, IX, and XI respectively from an institution affiliated to the CBSE or any Educational Board recognized by the Education Department of the State/UT in which such an institution is located.

The last date of direct Admission in Classes IX and above is 31st August or as mandated by the CBSE from time to time.

Students will be allowed to opt a particular 2nd language in Std. IX only if they have studied the same as 3rd Language up to Std. VIII.

The criteria for admission to different streams of Grade XI will be as follows:

Science Stream

The student must have obtained a minimum of “B” Grade in Science and Mathematics separately and an aggregate of “B” Grade in the board Examination of Class X.

Commerce Stream

The student must have obtained a minimum of a “C” Grade separately in Mathematics and an aggregate of a “C” Grade in the board Examination of Class X.
Provisional admission to class XI may be granted based on the results of the Pre- Board examination conducted by the school

General

Pupils joining the school in the middle of the session will have to pay full fee for that term only. However, long absentees will have to pay the fee for all the months in which they were absent, in case they want to rejoin their classes.
